Why Upgrade Your Old Enlarger?
The De Vere 504 is one of the best enlargers on the market, it’s incredibly solid and reliable and there are loads available secondhand. While they really were built to last, the heads become less reliable with age.
The Intrepid Enlarger light source matches the results of the traditional 504 head but it uses LEDs. It is completely silent to run as it doesn’t need a fan, and it also won’t overheat. As the times, colour balance and black/white contrast controls are all programmed digitally via the timer you can guarantee they will always be accurate.
