How does it work?
The Intrepid Compact Enlarger is an all-in-one kit for making colour or black & white handprints from your 35mm & 120 negatives.
It matches the results of a traditional enlarger whilst being a fraction of the size and price. Meaning you can turn pretty much any space no matter how small into a darkroom, and when you are done printing you can pack it all away!
Traditionally darkroom enlargers, especially for colour printing, are big, expensive and noisy pieces of kit. Thanks to advances in modern LED technology we have been able to completely rethink the traditional enlarger. The Intrepid Compact Enlarger may be small and portable but it is super powerful, producing amazing results comparable to any traditional enlarger.
The LED lights are perfectly calibrated for printing and everything is controlled by the timer. It has the CMY colour balance controls built-in and contrast filters for black and white so you don’t need to use external filters. There is also a built-in safelight for black and white printing.
