The Intrepid 4x5 is a totally modern rethink of the traditional large format field camera. Whilst offering all the features of classic cameras it is super lightweight (just 1.3kg) and incredibly versatile. The latest generation is by far our most refined and advanced. Featuring precise zeroing guides, a full range of movements, Graflok back, removable bellows and reinforced front standard controls with lockable zeroing stops (lenses/accessories are not included).

Why choose 4x5?

4x5 is an amazing format. The film comes in sheets that are much larger than your standard 35mm roll film.

13x bigger in fact! The larger negative size brings an incredible amount of clarity and depth to your images. When shot correctly, the tones are much richer and the quality far superior to even the best full-frame digital cameras. Large format photography is also one of the most rewarding forms of photography, there is nothing quite like getting out in the field, relaxing and taking your time to create that perfect image.
