Intrepid Fresnel Screen

When paired with the Intrepid ground glass the Fresnel Screen will brighten the projected image to make focusing easier, especially when using wide angle lenses. Available for Intrepid 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 cameras.

On all Intrepid Cameras, the correct way to mount a Fresnel screen is on top of the ground glass, between yourself and the glass.

Fitting the Fresnel

The Intrepid Fresnel screen is easy to fit to your camera with this guide.

The only tool you will need is a screwdriver. The screws in your ground glass clips will either be T7 or PH00.

Make sure you mount your fresnel the correct way round (smooth side facing out and the grooves facing inside).

Please note: If you purchase the Fresnel at the same time as the camera it will come already mounted.
