Background story

The Intrepid Zine was born out of wanting to offer a tangible platform to photographers using Intrepid Cameras in order to promote and share their projects. Social media is a great tool for sharing work, but nothing beats seeing photography printed in a high-quality physical format.

We believe creating and nurturing an international analogue community is paramount to the growth and longevity of film photography today. By creating new products and promoting the people creating amazing work, the analogue world will continue to grow and thrive. Which in turn will allow more and more people to experience the joy of shooting film and darkroom printing.

The next open call for submissions will be announced in December 2022.
